Terms & Conditions

Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of its terms and conditions.

⁺$50,000 Flight Centre travel prize draw conditions apply.

1. Valid from 12.00am Saturday 4 November to 11:59pm Wednesday 27 December 2023 New Zealand local time (“Prize Draw Period”). Entries received outside this time will be ineligible for entry.
2. The entity responsible for this promotion is Columbus Financial Services Limited (“Promoter”).
3. Entry is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over and must be a new or existing Flight Centre Mastercard holder. Details provided by entrants or the Prize Draw winners, will be verified by the Promoter to validate the eligibility of the entrant or Prize Draw winner, as the case may be.  If for any reason, a Prize Draw winner is deemed ineligible for any reasons, the Promoter reserves the right to draw a replacement Prize Draw winner.
4. There are fifty-seven (57) prizes in total to give away (“Prize Draw”).
5. One (1) Prize Draw winner will receive Flight Centre travel to the value of NZ$30,000 (“Major Prize”); two (2) Prize Draw winners will each receive Flight Centre travel valued at NZ$10,000 (“Major Prize”), and fifty-four (54) Prize Draw winners will each receive 50 bonus Flight Centre Rewards that will be applied to their Flight Centre Mastercard account (“Daily Prize”).
6. An entry into the Prize Draw is automatic every time a purchase is made with Flight Centre Mastercard at any retailer that accepts Flight Centre Mastercard during the Prize Draw Period. Triple entries into the Prize Draw are automatic every time a purchase is made at any accepting retailer from Friday 17 November to Sunday 19 November 2023. The transaction date is determined by when and where the merchant processes the purchase and is outside of the Promoter’s control and may affect eligibility. Purchases made overseas or online will be accepted in local time, which may affect eligibility.
7. Three (3) Major Prize winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries from the Prize Draw Period; fifty-four (54) Daily Prize winners will be drawn at random for each day of the Prize Draw Period drawn from all eligible entries associated with each respective day of the 54 days of the Prize Draw Period. Limit of one (1) Major Prize or Daily Prize (each a “Prize”) per Prize Draw winner.
8. The Prize Draw will take place at 111 Carlton Gore Rd, Newmarket, Auckland on 2 February 2024.
9. The Prizes are not negotiable, transferable, or redeemable for cash.
10. To be eligible for a Prize, you must be over 18 and your account must not be in arrears at the time the Prize Draw takes place.
11. Any purchases made on Flight Centre Mastercard during the Prize Draw Period that have been cancelled, refunded, returned, or suspended before the Prize Draw date will not be eligible for entry into the Prize Draw.
12. The Prize winners will be notified via phone or email by 9 February 2024. If a Prize Draw winner cannot be contacted within 5 business days, Promoter reserves the right to re-draw a Prize. The Daily Prize winners will have the bonus Flight Centre Rewards applied to their Flight Centre Mastercard account by 9 February 2024.
13. The Promoter collects personal information in order to offer the Prize. If the information is not requested or provided, then the entrants or Prize Draw winners may not participate in the Prize Draw.  Acceptance of any Prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use that information including the Prize Draw winners’ details, first name and photograph, for promotion and media purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the Prize Draw winner.  Refer to our Privacy Policy.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to extend, amend, suspend, or terminate this offer and these terms and conditions at any time without notice. The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. If for any reason a Prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute an alternative prize of equivalent value without notice.
16. The Promoter is not liable for any failure (for whatever reason) to record an entry into the Prize Draw.
17. Entry into the Prize Draw is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
18. Employees of the Promoter and/or Humm (NZ) Limited and Flight Centre (NZ) Limited and any Flight Centre subsidiary or related entity are not eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
19. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury whatsoever, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, which is suffered or sustained arising out of or in connection with a prize or this Prize Draw.
20. Where goods or services are supplied by third parties, the Promoter does not warrant the quality of such goods and/or services or their suitability. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify a consumer’s rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
21. All dates and time are in New Zealand local time.
