How do I activate my new Flight Centre Mastercard®?

It's easy to activate - select an option below to activate your new card.

Activate using the app

Activate via the app by downloading the app from the App Store for Apple or Google Play for Android.

You will need:

  • Your new Flight Centre Mastercard
  • Your smart phone
  • The Flight Centre Mastercard app

When you login:

  • If you are a first time user, you will need to set a new password, click ‘don’t have one’ and follow the prompts
  • If your device supports, you can also choose to set up a pin or fingerprint access
  • Accept ‘Terms & Conditions’
  • Access ‘Card Activation’
  • Enter your CVC (3 digit number on the back of your card)
  • You can now set up a 4 digit PIN for your card

Activate online

Activate online by going to flightcentremastercard.co.nz/login

You will need:

  • Your new Flight Centre Mastercard
  • Your temporary password that was sent via SMS

When you login:

  • You’ll need to change your password
  • You’ll be asked to enter your CVC (3 digit number on the back of your card) to activate your card
  • And you’ll be able to set a 4 digit PIN for your card

Activate 24/7 by calling 0800 500 450 in NZ (or +64 9 580 7365 from overseas)

You will need:

  • Your new Flight Centre Mastercard

When you call us:

  • You’ll be asked some security questions to verify your ID
  • Then you’ll be asked to set a 4 digit PIN for your card

Once you activate and sign your card, you’ll get all the benefits of a credit card and long term finance rolled into one, with:

  • Flight Centre Rewards* on all purchases made with your Flight Centre Mastercard.
  • Double Flight Centre Rewards* on in-store or online purchases made at Flight Centre in New Zealand.
  • Flight Centre Rewards automatically redeemed at any Flight Centre in New Zealand.
  • Access to Long Term Finance options.^
  • The freedom to use your Flight Centre Mastercard in-store, online, overseas and at ATMs# anywhere Mastercard is accepted.
  • You can use Contactless and Apple Pay^^.
  • You can manage your account online too, simply login to our secure Web Self Service.

Things you should know

*Earn 1.50 Flight Centre Rewards for every NZ$100 spend on Standard Purchases (excludes cash advances, balance transfers, fees, interest charges & quasi-cash transactions). Earn 3.00 Flight Centre Rewards for every NZ$100 spent in-store or online at a New Zealand Flight Centre store. When redeemed, every 1.00 Flight Centre Reward earned will equate to NZ$1.00 credit towards your Flight Centre Mastercard account.
